Privacy
This site collects nothing from the people who look at it. Below is the long version, and what happens if you write.
Who handles the data
The data controller is Simonetta Gho, Biella, Italy. For any question about this page or about your data, write to info@simonettagho.com.
What this site does while you look at it
Nothing. These pages are static: no cookies, no scripts, no visit counting, and no file requested from another address. Even the typefaces live inside the site, so no outside service gets to know that you are here.
That is why you get no window asking you to accept cookies: there are none.
If you send me an email
I receive your address, your name if you sign it, and what you wrote. I use them for one thing only: to answer you and, if you want to buy, to arrange the sale and the shipping.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract and the steps before it (art. 6.1.b of EU Regulation 2016/679); for plain enquiries, my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me (art. 6.1.f).
How long I keep them: messages that do not lead to a sale are deleted within two years of the last exchange. If there is a sale, Italian law requires me to keep the accounting documents for ten years.
I send no newsletter and I use your address for nothing else. There is no mailing list.
Who else sees this data
The site is kept online by OVHcloud, which records the technical data of every connection — including the IP address — to serve the pages and for security.
The mailbox that receives the messages is run by Apple (iCloud Mail). That provider may process messages outside the European Union, under the safeguards described in its own privacy notice.
Nobody else. The data is not sold, not traded, and not used for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask me what data of yours I hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, ask me to restrict its use, object to the processing, or ask for a copy in a format another program can read. Just write to info@simonettagho.com: I answer within one month.
If you think I got it wrong, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
If this page changes
If I change something, I change the date below as well. There are no hidden versions.
